Angels And Assassins

Review by Ciara Ferguson, Irish Times 14 Nov 1999

The paintings appear as sensual luscious coloured creations from which ethereal unearthly beings seemn to emerge and retreat. The colours are elemental and raw, with a sense of water sodden earth fire and air. The viewer is invited to descend into thick forests of paint and vaguely familiar images, to perhaps regain the promise of enchantment.
